And at last but not least here is the final arrival in this project, Sebastien’s opinion about the English Coffee:
I have teaching experience from the past, but it was different. I gave private classes when I was at the university to make pocket money. But it is the first time I do this in front of a public.
It was a real challenge with the beginner when it started. They are not fluent in English and I am not fluent in Spanish. I am often wondering what I am able to do during this workshop, and what would be useful for them. But little by little I find things to do and I get used to it. But with my intermediate group the only challenge is to be creative to find new topics for talking about. My task is not to make a lecture but to organize conversations and activities that are opportunities for the people to practice their English.
My favourite moments are when the people get suddenly involved in a conversation and insist to defend their opinion, start laughing, speak louder, and all this in English.

Por último, pero no menos importante, Sebastien, la última incorporación al proyecto, nos cuenta su opinión sobre los English Coffee:
Tenía experiencia dando clases, pero esto es diferente. Daba clases cuando estaba en la universidad para ganar un dinero extra, pero esta es la primera vez que lo hago delante de un público.
Para mí fue un reto el nivel inicial. No dominaban el inglés y yo no dominaba el español. Me planteo constantemente qué puedo aportar a estos talleres que sea útil para los participantes. Al final, poco a poco, encuentras qué enseñarles y te vas haciendo a ello. Con mi grupo de nivel intermedio la única dificultad es ser creativo para encontrar nuevos temas de conversación. Mi tarea no es dar una clase, sino organizar conversaciones y actividades que den la posibilidad de practicar el inglés.
El mejor momento es cuando la gente se involucra en una conversación sin darse cuenta: defienden sus opiniones, empiezan a reír y a hablar más alto… y todo eso en inglés.
