English coffee club from Lenka’s point of view
This week we finished our first semester of English coffee club. During 6 months we have been working on different groups, sorted by their level of English language.
My name is Lenka and I am one of the volunteers that give conversation classes in English. I had three groups, from level basic to intermediate. It was a pleasure to work with my students. The eagerness for learning and understanding different subjects and topics was incredible!
It motivated me to prepare more non traditional methods for classes that sometimes ended in a great laughter and fun. I think these classes developed really nice friendships that are going to last for a long time.
With my students we not only have conversational classes, but we also explored Alzira city. They told me lot of interesting historic facts about Fallas and for a moment we switched our roles and they were teachers for me as well. I cannot express how enriching this experience was for me.
In the beginning of the next month we open new curses and I can´t wait to meet my new students. I hope we are going to have really good classes, full of laughter, learning and understanding. I want to believe that in the end of the day my students will say that these classes worth to join in and that they don´t wasted their time but on the contrary, they are glad that they signed up for this.

Esta semana terminamos nuestro primer semestre del club de café Inglés. Durante 6 meses hemos estado trabajando en diferentes grupos, divididos por el nivel de idioma Inglés.
Mi nombre es Lenka y yo soy una de los voluntarios que dan clases de conversación en Inglés. He tenido tres grupos, desde el nivel básico hasta intermedio. Fue un placer trabajar con mis estudiantes. ¡Las ganas de aprender y comprender distintas materias y temas eran increíble!
Esto me motivó para preparar las clases usando métodos más allá de los tradicionales tanto que a veces terminaban en una gran carcajada y diversión. Creo que estas clases desarrollaron relaciones muy agradables y amistades que van a durar mucho tiempo.
Con mis estudiantes no sólo tenemos clases de conversación, sino que también exploramos la ciudad de Alzira. Me hablaron sobre muchos hechos históricos interesantes sobre las Fallas y por un momento nos cambiamos nuestros papeles y ellos fueron maestros para mí. No puedo expresar cuan enriquecedora fue esta experiencia para mí.
A comienzos del próximo mes abrimos nuevas clases y no puedo esperar para conocer a mis nuevos estudiantes. Espero que tengamos muy buenas clases, llenas de risas, aprendizaje y comprensión. Quiero creer que al final del día mis estudiantes van a decir que a estas clases valía la pena apuntarse y que no perdieron el tiempo sino que, por el contrario, están contentos de haberse inscrito.
