THE IDEA EUROPEAN PROJECTS OFFICE'S FIRST STEPS...

In July 2007, IDEA began working in a new area with the aim of expanding the resources and knowledge available to improve the employment and wealth of Alzira. This new area arises through the employment promotion program EZOINT that enabled the hiring of a person licensed in English philology whose function was to conduct the prospecting of European Resources that could be requested by the City Council of Alzira.

With the aim of continuing along the path started with the EZOINT program, in July 2008 a technician in European programs was incorporated into the department through the EMCORP program.

WEED (WOMEN ENTERPRISES AND EMPLOYMENT IN LOCAL DEVELOPMENT)

In June 2008, IDEA joined the WEED project with the aim of creating an instrument for the exchange and learning of all the agents involved in the development and implementation of policies in the cities.

INTERREG IVC

In 2009, a project was presented within the Interreg IVC program in which the Alzira City Council presented itself as a leader. Although it was not finally approved, its main theme was the exchange of experiences between different European cities.

With the signing of this agreement with the "Fundación Comunitat Valenciana - Región Europea", IDEA sought to participate in European programmes. By doing so, the participation of the agency in the policies and actions of the European Community was enhanced.
