

Piotrek’s farewell
It was six months but it felt more like six weeks. Or even six days. Time flies during volunteering projects and you can easily lose it if you are not careful enough. I was lucky to meet a lot of very nice people who helped me a lot. I had great flat mates who will be my friends forever. I had very helpful coworkers who were always ready to assist me with any issue. I got to know dozens of wonderful people from all around the world who helped me grow as a person. La despedida


Our travels: Barcelona
Imagine visiting Spain and not seeing Barcelona. We are not even sure it would count as visiting Spain. Barcelona, as the Catalan capital is a must-see. So we saw it. What impressed us the most was the urban planning grandeur and the detail oriented attitude. Sagrada Familia is much bigger than it looks on pictures and Gaudí’s buildings are just like taken from some crazy fairy tale. Piotrek’s Midterm Evaluation
Midterm evaluation is the following part of EVS learning process. The whole thing was a bit different than on-arrival training. First of all it was fully in Spanish. There were more than 120 volunteers and the atmosphere was – understandably – quite different. It was less intimate, but at the same time very friendly. Promoting EVS
An important part of our activities (and every EVS volunteer’s) is promoting European projects and encouraging youth activity. We try to persuade young people to take part in volunteering projects by giving presentations in local high schools and talking about our experiences. EVS is getting popular quickly but still there are many people who have no idea about that kind of activities. We are always eager to help apply for a project, write a CV or a motivational letter.
