Peter’s English Coffees
Peter from Hungary is also in the middle of action in our English coffee courses. He needed some time while can catch the line and get over the early difficultues. But here his personal thoughts:
About the lessons with the Intermediete group I wasn’t afraid. My coworkers told me, that they speak English vey well. So on the first class I realized that I only have to find a topic or topics for each classes and write some guideline questions to lead and help the conversations. Also encourage them to use their English knowledge. On the other hand I was terrified, because of my other group. I have a very basic Spanish, so I don’t even know what should I do with my Basic group, but after the first lesson I saw that I was scared with no reason. They have a very good Basic English level and they were very confident because they told me what kind of tasks should I prepare for the classes. Just if like the rabbit takes the shotgun and goes to hunt. But I admit that my spanish is developed with them. I have a good chance to practice. So we taught each other.

Peter, de Hungría, también forma parte de nuestro equipo en los English Coffee. A pesar de que necesitó algún tiempo para adaptarse a la dinámica y superar las primeras dificultades, aquí están sus reflexiones:
Desde el principio estuve muy a gusto con el grupo de nivel intermedio. Mis compañeros me contaron que hablaban inglés bastante bien. Así que en la primera clase me di cuenta de que solo tenía que buscar uno o varios temas de conversación para las clases y preparar alguna guía de preguntas para orientar la charla. También les animo a que utilicen sus conocimientos de inglés. Por otra parte, estaba un poco asustado por mi otro grupo. Mi español no es muy bueno, así que no sabía qué podía preparar para el nivel básico. Sin embargo, después de la primera clase, me di cuenta de que no habían motivos para estar asustado. Su nivel de inglés es básico pero bastante bueno, estaban muy seguros y me propusieron tareas para realizar en clase. Es como si los alumnos se pusieran en el lugar del profesor. Gracias a ellos, mi español ha mejorado mucho, es una buena ocasión para practicar y así aprendemos mutuamente.
