Laima in Barcelona!

Volunteering is not only a work experience, but also a possibility to travel. In May I visited BARCELONA! Everything was magic from the very beginning. Long wide streets, ornate terraces, amazing rooftops, so many interesting people. The citizens of Barcelona were very kind and polite. I did not manage to avoid leg ache because I wanted to see as much and as fast as it was possible. Among the many fantastic attractions to I managed to see and visit were Barri Gotic, Passeig de Gracia, Sangrada Familia, park Guell, La Rambla, Palza de Espana.

I was everywhere and I highly recommend those places because they are the must-sees of Barcelona. What captivated me the most was Sangrada Familia. The catedral was partly designed by architect Antoni Gaudi in the 19th Century but has still not been completely constructed. Due to the different construction phases one can observe a mix of the original Gothic style along with Gaudi´s newer Art Nouveau touch.

Additionally, I went to Barcelona beach, apparently it was to cold to take a swim, though it was still beautiful. The weather was perfect and this concludes the end of my most wonderful trip to Barcelona!
